Dr. Garrison Copeland, DDS

Dr. Copeland is passionate about helping patients discover the confidence that comes with a healthy, beautiful smile. He believes orthodontics is about more than straightening teeth—it's about transforming lives, building self-esteem, and creating lasting confidence. His mission is to provide exceptional, personalized care while helping every patient achieve a smile they are proud to share with the world.

Raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. Copeland experienced firsthand the challenges that can come with significant dental misalignment. His own journey inspired a deep commitment to helping others overcome similar obstacles and ultimately led him to pursue a career in orthodontics.

He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Morehouse College before obtaining his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Howard University. He then returned to Cleveland to complete advanced orthodontic training at Case Western Reserve University. Over the next seven years, he practiced in his hometown, helping more than 3,000 patients improve their oral health and confidence through orthodontic treatment.

Driven by a desire to continually expand his expertise, Dr. Copeland joined BronxCare Health System in 2018 to pursue advanced training in cosmetic dentistry and dental implants. His leadership, clinical excellence, and dedication to patient care earned him the distinction of Chief Resident.

When the COVID-19 pandemic emerged in 2020, Dr. Copeland answered a call to serve beyond the dental profession. Volunteering within BronxCare's Family Medicine Department, he worked alongside healthcare teams to support patients affected by the virus, contributing to treatment efforts during one of the most challenging public health crises in recent history.

Today, Dr. Copeland remains committed to combining advanced clinical care with compassion, helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles that positively impact every aspect of their lives.
